Motorcycle Delivery & Transport
-
Who handles the calls and the logistics?
Your booking is handled directly by Scott Wood. That means you deal with the same person from quote through to collection and delivery, with clear updates along the way.
-
Do you collect and deliver at an exact day and time?
Our quotes include collection and delivery timeframes. We contact the seller or buyer within those timeframes and arrange the details.
If you require a fixed day or specific time, we can quote for a timed collection or delivery. This is usually more expensive because it reduces route flexibility.
-
What areas do you cover?
We cover the UK mainland and run routes across England, Scotland and Wales. We regularly complete long-distance deliveries, including Scotland and Cornwall.
-
Can I see examples of motorcycles you have delivered?
Yes. You can view our real motorcycle delivery examples, including long-distance motorcycle transport, multi-bike collections, secure storage and dealer collection jobs across the UK.
Recent examples include a motorcycle delivery and collection route in Devon, a high-value motorcycle delivery from Kent to Herefordshire and a multi-bike motorcycle delivery from Wales to Nottinghamshire.
-
Are you insured to transport my motorcycle?
Yes. We are insured for the collection and delivery of motorcycles and motorcycle parts. We can carry up to a maximum of £50,000 per load and we never carry more than we are insured to do.
- How do you secure a bike during transport?
-
What information do you need to provide a quote?
To quote accurately we usually need:
- Pickup postcode and drop-off postcode
- Motorcycle make and model
- Whether the bike is running and rolling
- Any access issues, such as stairs, tight drives or locked compounds
- Preferred timeframes, if you have them
-
Can you transport non-runners or project bikes?
In many cases, yes. Let us know if the bike does not start or does not roll so we can plan the collection properly and quote accordingly.
-
Can you help with the payment process when collecting a bike?
In some cases we can offer a payment handling service where we pay for the bike on collection and you reimburse us for the motorcycle, the delivery, and a £50 handling fee.
This service is not always available and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
-
Do you price match?
In most cases, no. We price fairly for a reliable, professional service with proper planning and communication. Very low quotes can sometimes lead to poor reliability or last-minute changes.
If you have a like-for-like quote from another dedicated motorcycle transport provider, send it over and we will advise honestly where we can.
-
Will you check the bike over when you collect it?
We can check for obvious major issues such as visible damage to bodywork, wheels, indicators, and clocks. Minor marks, stone chips, and normal wear on used bikes are not typically recorded.
If you need a detailed inspection service, tell us before booking so we can confirm what is possible.
-
What should I do before collection?
- Have keys ready and confirm any security codes if applicable
- Remove loose items and luggage
- If possible, keep fuel low to moderate
- Let us know about alarms, trackers or immobilisers
- Confirm pickup access, parking and any gate codes
-
Do you provide updates during the job?
Yes. We keep communication clear and will confirm the plan within the agreed timeframe. If anything changes due to traffic, weather or route adjustments, we will update you.
Motorcycle Storage
-
Where is my bike stored if it is not delivered the same day?
We have a dedicated 1,250 sq ft motorcycle storage unit used solely for storing motorcycles. It is located on a busy industrial estate.
The unit is protected by a high-grade alarm system and remote CCTV with motion detection alerts.
-
Do you offer short-term and long-term storage?
Yes. We can offer flexible storage options depending on availability. Contact us with the dates you need and we will confirm what is possible.
-
Can I access my motorcycle while it is in storage?
Access is sometimes possible with notice, depending on bookings and unit availability. Contact us and we will advise the best option.
Pricing & Value
-
How are your prices so competitive?
We work with over 30 dealers across the UK, which helps us plan efficient routes and regular runs from Scotland down to Cornwall. This network keeps the service consistent and the pricing competitive.
-
What can affect the final quote?
Quotes can vary based on distance, timing requirements, access issues, whether the bike runs and rolls, and whether you need timed collection or delivery.
-
What if the weather is bad or there are delays?
Safety comes first. Severe weather or unexpected delays can affect routes. If anything changes, we will communicate clearly and keep you updated.
